Evolution Resources

Evolution is the cornerstone of knowledge. Here are a number of resources. I have a link to the right of this blog (scroll down) for understanding evolution. I am having a conversation with a friend and colleague, Bob Campbell, called Conversations with Bob (check the posts to the right). From my perspective, evolution is a critical component to this conversation. I am also in the process of creating for myself a theology for the 21st century that regards evolution as a starting point.

is an impressive site regarding human evolution.

Michael Dowd and Colleen Barlow have a marvelous site, The Great Story, regarding the good news of evolution!

NPR has a little bit here about evolution.

has a fine interactive website regarding the evolutionary timeline.

Here is a 135 foot timeline (scroll from left to right).

This is a great exercise for students to make their own timeline in light of evolutionary history.
